The hockey program is living the Gilmour Mission and raising money for autism research this season. The program is currently selling apparel for the official Skate for a Solution Game being played on November 16 at 7 p.m. between the Lancer boys prep team and Culver Academy (Ind.). Fans of Gilmour hockey can purchase items via an online store that is open through October 27, 2019. A total of $5 from each item sold will be donated to the non-profit organization Autism Speaks. Apparel features a Gilmour hockey logo on the front along with the official Skate for a Solution logo on the back. Additional money will be raised through admission to the Solution game, as well as through a bake sale. Gilmour players will further show their support to the cause by wearing puzzle piece game socks during that game. The puzzle piece is often used as the logo associated with autism.
