What a year for former Lancer girls basketball standout Naz Hillmon '18. Her name has become quite familiar to the University of Michigan Wolverine women’s basketball fans and, this week, she took home top honors when the Big Ten Conference honors were announced.
Naz was voted First Team, All-Freshman Team and Sixth Player of the Year by Big Ten coaches and First Team and Freshman of the Year by the media.
She was a six-time Big Ten Freshman of the Week and had stellar stats for the 2018-19 season.
She has played in every game this season, helping Michigan to a 20-10 overall record. She recorded 208 rebounds, eight blocks, 29 steals and 393 points in 680 minutes this season.
We can't wait to see what she does in the Big Ten tournament and the NCAA Tournament in a few weeks.
