Floyd E. Stefanski Ice Center

Welcome to the Floyd E. Stefanski Ice Center, dedicated on February 9, 2020, to honor the late brother of Ben II '56 and Marc '72, and father of Brian '05, Gavin '07, Evan '11 and Amanda '13. Brian and Amanda played hockey while attending Gilmour and Floyd and his wife, Kathleen, were proud supporters of Lancer hockey during that time and long after.

The building is home to the Lancer hockey program and varsity figure skating team. It is the only facility of its kind in Ohio owned by a high school. Not only does the facility host the Academy’s two varsity, one 16-U and two prep hockey teams, but a number of other local high schools and even a local college utilize it as their home facility.  The Arena features a number of youth hockey teams as well. Constantly buzzing with activity, there are 300,000 visitors annually for tournaments, lessons, free skate and more!
