The varsity baseball team opened the season with a 10-0 win against Geneva after being led by a dominating pitching performance from Ben DeMell '21 (pictured on the left) and strong hitting from the entire Lancer lineup. Nick Christopher '19 (pictured on the right) and Garrett Olsen '20 each totaled three RBI. In game two of the season, Gilmour played tough against Holy Name, but dropped the contest by a score of 7-4. Matt Christopher '20 had two hits, while DeMell and N. Christopher each tripled.
At the junior varsity level, the Lancers began the season with two victories - 19-9 against Geneva and 3-2 against Holy Name. Marco Costabile '20 reached base five times while Frankie Valenti '21 recorded six RBI in the Geneva run rule. In the second win, Paddy Murphy '22 turned in a solid pitching performance in six innings without giving up a single walk.
