Football: Lancers Notch Big Win in Homecoming Game

The varsity football team exhibited an impressive showing in the Homecoming game, defeating John Adams High School 41-6. The Lancers jumped out to a 21-0 first-quarter lead, which it held into the halftime break. Santino Harper '23 had a five-yard touchdown run to open the game. Kevan Pack '20 (pictured on right) then had a 19-yard TD reception from Thomas Richardson '22 (pictured on left)who then had a two-yard run into the end zone. The remainder of the Lancer scoring came in the third quarter on touchdowns by Connor Krebs '20Nathan Reichard '20 and Harper. 
 
Harper led the team with 111 yards rushing on 17 carries. Krebs totaled 30 yards on four carries. Reichard was the leading receiver with 68 yards on five receptions as Pack had 19 yards with four catches. Other highlights of the game included two interceptions and two blocked punts by Aidan Muchnicki '20.
