John Thomas ’81 is in his 12th year as an assistant coach with the Gilmour Academy Middle School boys basketball program with the 2021-22 school year.

Thomas is quite familiar with the philosophies of the school, having been a Lancer himself. While at Gilmour, he was a two-year letterman in basketball, tennis and track and field.

Thomas has a Bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University and a Juris Doctor from Ohio Northern University. For 30 years, he has been an attorney at law with Thomas and Conway, LPA, Inc.

He and his wife of 35 years, Beckey, currently reside in Twinsburg, Ohio. They have two sons, Jackson and Cameron.
