The varsity girls golf team has been busy on the links, competing in seven events so far this season. Co-captain Olivia Caruso '20 (pictured on the right) has been a leader for the team, recording the low score in a number of the matches. Other top performers have been Clare Peterson '23, who shot the team low score against Revere, Mayfield and Orange, as well as co-captain Olivia Sucato '20 (pictured on the left), who tied Caruso with the team low score against Mentor and then led the Lancers against Hathaway Brown.
This past week, the Lancers took on Padua Franciscan and Hathaway Brown. In a close match, Gilmour fell to the Lady Bruins by a narrow margin of strokes. Against HB, a highlight of the match was a 22-foot putt by Sucato.
Head Coach Brian Minotas '96 is very happy with the team's overall effort, "Improvements are being made on a daily basis and it's nice to see all team members stepping up and leading us in scoring each match."
