Last week, the varsity girls golf team played in the OHSAA Division II Sectional Tournament at Punderson Golf Course. In a field of 16 teams, the Lancers finished ninth, posting a respectable score against some very good competition. Leading the way for the team was Mackenzie Palinski '21 with a 105 and Clare Peterson '23 (pictured on the left) with a 107. Then in a final match to conclude the season, the team competed against Streetsboro. Peterson took home medalist honors for the squad. Another highlight of the match was Gia Parker '23 (pictured on the right) with a marvelous hole 3 par with a 10-foot putt.
