The girls prep hockey team finished its final five regular season games at home in the Floyd E. Stefanski Ice Center, going 3-2 for the weekend.

The Lancers hosted Selects Academy (N.Y.), Armstrong Arrows (Pa.) and Team CLE.

In the two-game series versus Selects Academy, which is ranked one of the top teams in the country, Gilmour battled hard on every shift. Goaltenders Hope Crisafi '20 and Kristiana Apsite PG were outstanding in net, both facing more than 50 shots in each game. Jenna Salminen '20 (pictured on the left) and Ruby McCall '20 were also standout players for the Lancers, working hard on the penalty kill and blocking shots at the blue line in both games. The Lancers fell by scores of 9-0 and 10-0.

In the Saturday double header versus Armstrong, the Lancers came out flying in both games, tremendously benefitting from the fast pace of the Selects Academy match-ups. In both games, the Lancers outshot the Arrows by nearly a 2:1 ratio. In game one, Gilmour won 2-0 with goals from Quinn Hartmetz '21 and Lexi Nguyen '20 (pictured on the right). The shutout went to Crisafi. In game two, Gilmour won 6-0 with goals courtesy of McCall, Nguyen and Salminen. Another shutout was recorded by Crisafi.

On Sunday evening, the Lancers defeated Team CLE by a score of 4-1. Crisafi and Apsite combined for the win in net.

Gilmour looks forward to hosting the Mid-Am District Tournament starting March 6, where the team faces Pens Elite at 5:30 p.m. On Sunday, at 9:20 a.m. theLancers take on Culver Academy. The winner of the district tournament moves on to the National Championship in Blaine, Minn. in April.
