The varsity girls soccer team played through a highly competitive week facing opponents Magnificat and Notre Dame Academy out of Toledo, both on the road. The Lancers came up short 1-0 in each match. Against Magnificat, Gilmour had a strong second half. Keeper Kaitlin Grady '20 (pictured on the left) had three excellent saves. Then against NDA, Julia Pangonis '21 (pictured on the right) was a defensive leader for the Lancers. Overall, coach Anton Trifonovs is pleased with the focus of the team as they prepare for the games ahead. He is pleased with how Grady and fellow keeper Kendra Barlow '20 remain consistent in goal and work to lift all players up whether in games or practice.

At the junior varsity level, the Lancers lost to Magnificat in their only game of the week. Lily Maharg '21 and Morlyn Culler '23 are understanding and valuing the little details they have been given from the coaching staff and are showing continuous improvement on the field.
