  • The Gilmour Academy girls track and field team won the Weingart Relays this past Saturday
  • It is the second straight year that Gilmour has won the annual early-season invitational hosted by Cleveland Heights High School
  • Gilmour topped the field of 14 schools with 135.5 points, finishing more than 30 ahead of runner-up Euclid High School
  • Karah Henderson '22 won the 100-meter hurdles in 15.30 seconds, more than a full second ahead of the field
  • Amy Weybrecht '24 won the mile in 5:22.61, more than 16 seconds ahead of the runner-up
  • Clare Valenza '23 won the 3200-meter run in 11:58.46, more than 30 seconds ahead of the runner-up
  • Bella Lasecki '22 won the pole vault by clearing a height of 8 feet, 0 inches
  • Gilmour won both the sprint medley and distance medley relays
  • Lasecki, Edith Tomasek '23, Henderson and Mary Lombardo '22 combined to win the sprint relay in 1:59.87
  • Lombardo, Mia Polisena '22, Kaleigh McNamara '22 and Weybrecht won the distance relay in 13:24.70
  • Kai Logan '22 was the runner-up in the long jump with a distance of 14 feet, 8.25 inches
  • Jayla Pleasant '22 was the runner-up in the discus (92 feet, 8 inches) and placed fourth in the shot put (32 feet, 4 inches)
  • Gilmour's 4x100 (50.79 seconds) and 4x200 (1:47.77) relays both finished in third place
  • The 4x100 squad featured Lasecki, Logan, Rielyn Jackson '25 and Mariyah Moore '24
  • The 4x200 team featured Jackson, Henderson, Logan and Moore
  • Moore placed third in the 200-meter dash in 26.68 seconds
  • Tomasek was fourth in the 100 hurdles (17.34 seconds), fourth in the high jump (4 feet, 8 inches) and fifth in the 300 hurdles (55.20)
  • Polisena took fourth place in the 800-meter run in 2:44.55
  • Gilmour also placed fourth in the 4x800 relay as Valenza, Kaitlin Rulison '23, McNamara and Sadie Gerber '25 finished in 11:37.93
  • Rulison took fifth in the 3200 meters in 13:00.55
  • Jackson placed fifth in the 100-meter dash (13.10 seconds) while Logan was seventh (13.62 seconds)
  • Lombardo finished sixth in the 400-meter dash (1:04.52)
