The boys prep hockey team went 2-2 this past weekend. The Lancers defeated Shady Side Academy, 3-1 and St. Francis, 6-2. The team lost to Ridley College, 4-2 and Lake Forest Academy, 6-2. The team was led offensively by Teemu Paloniemi '19 (pictured) and in net by Duncan Nichols-Delay '19, who won both of his games.

Another highlight for the prep team is that Rocco Testa-Basi '20 (pictured) finished the MPHL season as the league leader in regular-season goals scored, which is the first time a Lancer has accomplished such a feat under the direction of head coach Mike Chiellino in his five years with the program.

Weekend Plans: The Lancers take on Victory Honda 18-U AAA, which is the top-ranked team in Michigan, on the road Friday. Gilmour returns home on Saturday against Esmark Stars at 1:10 p.m. before heading out to Pennsylvania on Sunday to face the Esmark Stars.
