Gilmour Academy

Brandy Hemphill is in her first year as Gilmour's Learn-to-Skate Director in the 2023-24 school year.

Being introduced to ice skating during a school field trip, Hemphill fell head over heels for the sport and quickly gained traction after starting lessons. During her active years of competitive skating she was also a member of her club's synchro team and participated in ice shows.

Prior to accepting this position, Hemphill had been coaching figure skating and hockey skating skills for the last 14 years, eight of which came at Gilmour. She has also maintained her U.S. Figure Skating Association throughout.
