The Gilmour Academy figure skating team hosted a Princess Christmas and Skate with Santa event Saturday, Dec. 18. As part of the event, the Gilmour student-athletes dressed up as various characters from famous children's movies. The event was a success as the Lancers took a carload of supplies and goodies to Laura's Home Women's Crisis Center, a battered women's shelter in Cleveland, along with a $300 cash donation. The Learn-to-Skate families had a great time spending time with the Gilmour team, and it was once again a very special event at the ice arena.
