At the final varsity boys basketball home game of the regular season, a special ceremony was held to recognize several program records set this season by Connor O'Toole '20. The starting guard is making his mark in the record books and his senior campaign isn't even over yet.

On January 17, in a game against Holy Name, he broke the career record for 3-pointers made. Then a day later on January 18 in a game against Lake Catholic, he broke the career record for assists. The following month on February 18 in a game against Willoughby South, he broke his own record for assists in a game with 12.

Just prior to tip-off, members of the Gilmour administration and boys basketball coaching staff presented him with game balls for his achievements. He then went out and again broke his own record for assists in a game with 13 in the win against John F. Kennedy Catholic School.

At the time of the ceremony, O'Toole was 91 games into his career as a Lancer and had recorded a total of 359 assists and 155 3-pointers. He has since continued to add to those totals with the final regular season game, as well as in the opening game of the postseason tournament. As long as Gilmour continues to make its postseason run, he will have an opportunity to increase his career totals even more.
