  • The Gilmour Academy varsity boys basketball team continued its winning ways by cruising to two victories over local rivals this past weekend
  • Gilmour began the weekend with an 80-65 victory over University School
  • In doing so, the Lancers swept the regular-season home-and-home between the two teams
  • Ryan Mueller '22 produced another double-double to lead the Lancer effort
  • He had game highs in points (21) and rebounds (10) and also added three assists
  • Adisa Molton II '23 finished with 18 points, five rebounds and five assists
  • Brandon Rose '23 had 10 points on 4-of-6 shooting from the field
  • Dorjan Flowers '23 led Gilmour in assists (6) and steals (5) and also had five points and four rebounds
  • Nathan Flaherty '22 and Nathan Nootbaar '22 each added nine points
  • Flaherty was 3-of-6 from downtown while Nootbaar went 4-for-5 from the field overall
  • Gilmour led 38-23 at the half and did not trail over the final three quarters
  • The Lancers had a 34-24 advantage in rebounding
  • GA scored 42 points in the paint compared to just 24 for US
  • One day later, Gilmour rolled past Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin School by a score of 77-35
  • Mueller had a game-high 14 points while adding seven rebounds and five assists
  • Flaherty also finished in double figures, notching 11 points and tying Mueller for the game high with seven boards
  • Flowers came quite close to a double-double as he finished with nine points, a game-high nine assists and four steals
  • Molton also had nine points and tied Flowers with a game-high four steals
  • Nootbaar added seven points on 3-of-4 shooting while Lucas Grover '22 had six on a 2-for-3 mark from distance
  • Twelve different Lancers scored in the victory over the Lions
  • Gilmour shot 56.6 percent from the field while holding NDCL to 28.3 percent
  • The Lancers had a 26-3 advantage in points off turnovers
  • Gilmour had 25 assists on 30 made field goals in the win
  • Gilmour will look to extend its winning streak while closing its homestand this weekend
  • The Lancers will host Chagrin Falls High School and Andrews Osborne Academy
