  • The Gilmour Academy varsity boys basketball team went 3-0 this past week
  • With the three wins, the Lancers extended their winning streak to eight games and are now 14-2 overall
  • Gilmour began the past week with a 66-44 victory over Chagrin Falls High School
  • Ryan Mueller '22 led the way with a double-double
  • He had game highs in both points (21) and rebounds (12) while adding two blocks
  • Brandon Rose '23 was second in both categories for GA, tallying 18 points and eight boards
  • Adisa Molton II '23 finished with 10 points, four rebounds and five assists
  • Dorjan Flowers '23 posted a game-high six assists along with three steals and two blocks
  • Gilmour led 27-17 at the half and led by double digits for the entire second half
  • The Lancers had a 37-23 advantage on the boards and held Chagrin to 36.4 percent shooting from the field
  • One night later, Gilmour claimed a 67-55 victory over Andrews Osborne Academy
  • Mueller and Rose put forth monster performances as both registered impressive double-doubles
  • Mueller tallied a career-high 30 points along with a game-high 16 rebounds and six assists
  • Rose notched 19 points, on 7-for-11 shooting, and 12 rebounds
  • Molton had 10 points and four assists while Nathan Flaherty '22 had eight points and four rebounds
  • Flowers tied for the game high with six assists and led Gilmour with three thefts
  • Gilmour outrebounded AOA 40-20, helping it have a 26-7 advantage in second-chance points
  • The Lancers took an 18-7 lead after one quarter and led for the remainder of the game
  • Gilmour then hit the road for a midweek clash at Streetsboro High School and claimed a 44-33 victory over the Rockets
  • Mueller led Gilmour with a game-high 20 points, eight rebounds and a game-high three blocks
  • Rose added 11 points and four steals while Molton contributed nine points and four steals
  • Flowers had game highs in assists (5) and steals (5) while scoring four points
  • Gilmour won the defensive battle by tallying 17 steals and forcing 23 turnovers overall
  • As a result, the Lancers had a 26-3 advantage in points off turnovers
  • GA jumped out to a 15-6 lead after the opening quarter and led throughout the contest
  • Seven of GA's eight wins during its current winning streak have been by 10+ points
  • The Lancers will host Lutheran High School East this Saturday, Feb. 5, at 7 p.m.
