Jeff Brown is in his second season as an assistant coach with the Gilmour Academy varsity boys basketball team with the 2020-21 school year. This is his 10^th year of coaching basketball at the high school level.

Brown was an assistant coach for the varsity girls basketball team at Wheelersburg High School from 2011-17. During that time, the Pirates won four Southern Ohio Conference (SOC) championships, one district championship and had two district runner-up finishes. He then moved on to assist at Bishop Ready High School in Columbus with the boys basketball varsity and junior varsity teams (2017-19) and the varsity girls soccer team (2017). He also served as the co-head coach of the varsity boys and girls cross country teams (2018). While coaching with the boys basketball program, the Silver Knights earned one Central Catholic League (CCL) championship and one district runner-up finish.

Brown has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from The Ohio State University, a bachelor’s degree in education from Ashland University and a master’s in educational leadership from American Online College of Education. The lifelong resident of Wadsworth, Ohio, is employed by Gilmour Academy as an Upper School chemistry teacher.
