The Gilmour Academy varsity boys golf team had a busy week on the links and, according to head coach Jamey Polak, "the team is looking good as the regular season winds down."

The Lancers finished third in the Padua Invitational at Pine Hills Golf Club with a team score of 336. Alex Swinarski '22 (pictured on left) led the team in the midweek event with a score of 77. Gilmour then headed to Oberlin Country Club on Saturday for the St. Edward Invitational. The team posted a score of 314 paced by an even par 72 by Liam Ottaway '21 (pictured on right) as Swinarski totaled another 77.

Gilmour finished out the week at Shaker Heights Country Club on Sunday, finishing second out of six teams with a score of 319. Swinarski led the way with a career-best 74 as Ottaway and Jack Popovich '22 each scored a 79.

The Lancers are about to begin postseason play with the OHSAA Division III Sectional Tournament beginning at the end of the month.
