It was a great week for the Varsity A boys hockey team, which had a little fun with a Blue/Gray team scrimmage. The two goalies, Dylan Stefan '21 and Toby Herlong '21 (pictured right) served as team captains. Team Stefan earned a 5-1 win against Team Herlong as a good time was had by all.

The mind-clearing practice re-energized the team as it went on to cruise to an 11-1 Great Lakes Hockey League (GLHL) victory against Padua. The win moved the Lancers into a tie for first place in the league standings with Saint Edward. Highlights of the game included a hat trick by Justin Evans '20, who finished the game with four goals and two assists. Joe Roddy '21 recorded five assists, which ranks among the best in the team records. Stefan earned the win in net.

The GLHL also announced its league honors this week and the Lancers had two of its players recognized. Herlong was selected to the GLHL First Team and Bryce Hofstrom '20 (pictured left) was named a Scholar Athlete Award winner
