- The Gilmour Academy boys varsity A hockey team went a perfect 3-0 in a trio of Great Lakes Hockey League games this past weekend
- The Lancers began the weekend with a 6-0 victory against Shaker Heights High School
- Matthew Bauman '23 tallied a natural hat trick in the first period to stake GA to an early lead
- Gavin Fielder '23 and Jakub Sedlacik '22 scored in the second while Viktor Povozhaev '23 lit the lamp in the third
- Evan Underwood '22 earned the shutout in the win over the Raiders
- Gilmour would then claim a 3-0 win against Walsh Jesuit High School Saturday afternoon
- Jimmy Robida '22 and Povozhaev each scored in the opening period
- Jacob Malinas '23 found the net with a blast from the left point in the second period
- Ian Anderson '22 tallied the shutout, the second straight for GA
- After two road games, Gilmour returned home to host Padua Franciscan High School
- The Lancers claimed a 4-2 victory over the Bruins Sunday evening
- Povozhaev's two goals led GA as he scored for the third game running
- Bauman and Rocco Hice '23 also scored in the victory
- Underwood earned his second victory of the weekend in goal
- All three of Gilmour's opponents this past weekend are ranked among the top 15 in the state rankings
- Gilmour will return to action this weekend by playing four games at the Father Styles MLK Showcase hosted by Saint Ignatius High School
