• The Lancers began the weekend with a 2-1 win over Walsh Jesuit High School
• Shea Hofstrom '22 opened the scoring with a power-play goal assisted by Matthew Bauman '23 and Justin Wen '23
• With the game tied late in the third period, Wen scored the game-winning goal to lift GA to the victory
• Wen's goal was assisted by Hofstrom and Connor Underwood '22
• Evan Underwood '23 made 22 saves to earn the win in goal
• Gilmour then traveled Saturday to face Saint Ignatius High School, the No. 1 team in the state
• Despite falling behind early, Gilmour used a big offensive outburst late in the game to surge to the win
• With the score tied 2-2, Gilmour scored three times over the final six minutes to grab a 5-2 victory
• Viktor Povozhaev '23 scored twice in the win
• Wen had the go-ahead goal along with an assist
• Kyle Laws '22 and Jack Popovich '22 each tallied a goal and an assist
• Brennen O'Neill '23 assisted on two goals in the win
• Evan Underwood notched his second straight victory in goal
• Gilmour then finished off the weekend with a road contest against archrival University School
• For the second straight day, GA overcame an early deficit to post a win, this time claiming a 3-1 victory
• Bauman, Povozhaev and Jakub Sedlacik '22 scored in the victory
• Ian Anderson '22 earned the win in goal for Gilmour
• The game was the rubber match between in the Battle of SOM as the teams had split their two previous meetings this season
• Gilmour has now won six straight games and 10 of its last 11 overall
• The Lancers have also won five consecutive GLHL games
• Gilmour plays a pair of games this weekend, traveling to Padua Franciscan High School Friday night before hosting Shaker Heights High School Saturday evening
