- The Gilmour Academy boys 16-U hockey team got back on the winning track last weekend
- The Lancers swept a two-game series against Nichols School 16-U AAA in Buffalo, N.Y.
- Gilmour claimed a 4-1 victory in the series opener Friday afternoon
- Phil Kuchynski '25, Johnny Maruna '24, Vaughn Pongonis '23 and Nick Sinani '23 each scored in the victory
- Nate Grant '23 earned the team's Hard Hat Award for a great performance in goal
- Maruna earned the Jacket Award for tallying a goal and two assists
- The Lancers produced an offensive outburst on Saturday, claiming a 7-2 victory
- Nick Arrington '24 led the way by posting a hat trick and earned the Hard Hat Award
- Pongonis added two more goals to give him three on the weekend
- Cole Bridges '23 and Sinani each scored once
- Max Ritt '25 grabbed the Jacket thanks to a hard-working effort throughout the game
- Gilmour will now play eight consecutive home games to begin the month of February
- The Lancers will play four games over three days this weekend as they host the Lancer Classic Showcase
