After a brief stint away, Joe Nook has returned to the bench as an assistant coach for the Gilmour Academy boys prep hockey team for the 2021-22 season.

Nook has coached at various levels in the Cleveland area for several years, including multiple previous seasons with the Lancers’ prep team.

Nook played for University School before going on to Northwood School in Lake Placid, N.Y. for a post-graduate year. Nook was then a four-year member of the RIT men's hockey team.

Nook currently resides in Pepper Pike, Ohio, and is the CEO of Nook Industries.
