Clay Gazdak
Title: Assistant Coach - Prep Boys/16-U Boys
Clay Gazdak is in his first season with the Gilmour hockey program and is serving as an assistant coach for the Boys Prep and Boys 16-U teams.
 
Gazdak won two state championships (2018, 2019) as a hockey player while attending Saint Ignatius High School from 2016-2020.
 
Gazdak continued his education and athletic career at John Carroll University. He played for the ACHA Division I JCU men's club team for three seasons, missing one year due to Covid-19. Gazdak was alternate captain in his junior season of 2022-2023 and was then selected as team captain for the 2023-2024 season. He was a 2024 CHMA First Team Defenseman honoree. 
 
Gazdak earned a Bachelor's degree in supply chain management and marketing from John Carroll. In addition to coaching at Gilmour, he works at Vibrantz Technologies as a Master Data Analyst.
 
Gazdak currently lives in Concord, Ohio.
