Coach Menges spent his high school career at Gilmour and holds the record for most games played for the Gilmour Academy boys prep hockey team.

During his time as a player at Gilmour, Menges was selected as an alternate captain and led the team in scoring in Midwest Prep Hockey League (MPHL) play during the 2017-18 season.

Following Gilmour, Menges played junior hockey in the NAHL and CCHL and then played NCAA hockey at Aurora University. He has coached at numerous camps and clinics and he now will have the opportunity to share his knowledge and experience with current and future Gilmour players.
