Natalie Zitek is an alumna of Gilmour Academy and its girls prep hockey program. Zitek was a standout player in her time as a player at Gilmour Academy and was inducted into the school's Athletics Hall of Fame in 2019.

Zitek previously served as both an assistant coach and the head coach of the NCAA Division III Women's team at Johnson & Wales University.

Zitek played NCAA Division III hockey at Manhattanville College. She is currently serving as an assistant coach with the girls prep team as well as the power skating coach for the entire hockey program. Zitek has also previously served in the Residence Life Program as a proctor during her time at Gilmour.
