Title: Assistant Coach - Middle School

Rachel Wesler is in her sixth year as an assistant coach with the Middle School coed soccer team, however, it is her seventh year on the Lancer coaching staff, having been an assistant with the girls varsity lacrosse program from 2012-15. She previously coached at Perrysburg High School in 2007 as an assistant coach with the girls lacrosse team and then served as the head coach for the girls lacrosse team at her alma mater, Mentor High School, from 2016-18.

While at Mentor as a student, Wesler was a part of the school’s inaugural girls lacrosse team, playing defense and midfielder for two years for the Cardinals. She went on to play club lacrosse at Bowling Green State University. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Middle School education in science and social studies in 2010. She is currently teaching as a fourth and fifth grade science teacher at St. Christopher School in Rocky River. She works part time at Target and does volunteer work through the Target organization, as well as through her church and the Cleveland Clinic.
