Boys Soccer: Gilmour's Ciuni, Slabe and Beck Earn Top NCL Honors

What a great conference season it was for the varsity boys soccer team. The Lancers defeated both of their league opponents to go undefeated and win the North Coast League (NCL) White Division Championship. The team also received 13 individual honors, including the three most prestigious. Head coach Joe Ciuni was voted White Division Coach of the Year, while Offensive Most Valuable Player honors went to Bowdan Slabe '20 (pictured on the left) and Defensive Most Valuable Player honors went to Matt Beck '21 (pictured on the right). Slabe and Beck also earned a spot on the NCL First Team along with teammates Alexander Beedles '22Riley Barrett '20 and Eric Brandt '21. Second-Team accolades went to Cody Tippen '20Kessel Richards '21 and Connor Underwood '22. Rounding out the list of award winners were Honorable Mention selections John Stack '23, who was the only freshman player honored at any level, and Kyle Laws '22.
