Swimming: GA Travels to Columbus for Ned Reeb Invitational

The varsity swim team headed to Columbus for the Ned Reeb Invitational in the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion on the campus of The Ohio State University. The two-day event saw the B Flight compete on day one, followed by the A Flight on day two. Highlights of the B Flight included personal-best times by Victoria Dulzer '22 (pictured on the left) in the 50 free and 100 free, as well as by Deaglan Bryant '23 (pictured on the right) in the 200 IM and 100 breast. In A-Flight competition, the Lancer girls team finished 12th out of 41 teams spanning both divisions, ranking third among OHSAA DIvision II schools. The medley relay of Kylee Radigan '22, Cate O'Haimhirgin '20, Abby Meyer '21 and Grace Valenza '20 finished fourth overall, while the 200 free relay of O'Haimhirgin, Valenza, Anna Frank '20 and Radigan finished seventh overall. For the boys, Matt Vanone '20 made the finals in both the 100 fly and the 100 back. The Lancer 200 medley relay of Andrew Lewis '23, Bryant, Vanone and Alex Figurella '22 was 16th and the 200 free relay with the same four swimmers placed 18th.
