Two members of the Gilmour Academy boys tennis program were selected to the News Herald All-Star list that the organization recently released.

Robert Sullivan '22 and James Zhou '21 were both named to the News Herald Honor Roll.

Sullivan and Zhou comprised the Lancers' top doubles team during the 2021 season as the duo advanced to the OHSAA District Tournament.

The pair of Lancers advanced to the District Tournament on the strength of a third-place showing at the Solon Sectional Tournament.

Zhou was consistently at the top of the Gilmour lineup during the season, whether it be in singles or doubles. He went 7-1 at No. 1 singles and 4-1 at No. 1 doubles during the regular season.

When not playing at the top of the GA doubles lineup, Sullivan took the second spot in the singles order. He posted a 4-3 mark in singles competition and also tallied a trio of regular-season doubles wins.

The duo then combined for three wins at the Solon Sectional event, combining to drop only four total games over those three matches.
