- The Gilmour Academy varsity girls basketball team picked up a pair of wins this past week
- The Lancers began with a 44-35 victory at Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin School
- In doing so, GA swept the regular-season series from the Lions
- Lauryn Stover '22 led Gilmour with 17 points
- Stover added five rebounds, two assists and two blocks
- Molly Moore '23 had 10 points on 5-of-6 shooting from the field
- Moore notched a team-high eight rebounds along with five steals
- Madeline Martino '22 had seven points, six rebounds and a team-high six steals
- Nicci Finazzo '24 added five points and a team-high four assists in the win
- Gilmour's varsity team then took part in the Chet Mason Invitational at Brush High School on Saturday
- Gilmour would claim a 47-42 win over Trinity High School in the event
- Finazzo earned Game MVP accolades after leading GA with 13 points in the win
- Martino led Gilmour in assists (4) and steals (5) while scoring eight points
- Moore led the effort on the boards, grabbing a team-high 10 rebounds to go along with four points
- Stover had seven points and six rebounds while Angelina Lonardo '22 had seven points and four boards
- Gilmour's junior varsity team also went 2-0 this past week
- The Lancers posted a 44-26 win at NDCL, sweeping the season series like their varsity counterparts
- Elaina Kline-Ruminski '25 led Gilmour with 18 points in the victory
- Maddie Minotas '24 added 10 and Kelsey O'Toole '24 finished with seven
- Gilmour then came from behind to post a 41-39 win over Mentor High School
- The game was part of a JV Showcase held at Euclid High School
- Minotas was named an Outstanding Performer after the game
- She had a double-double, finishing with 12 points and 17 rebounds in the win
- Both Gilmour programs will play a total of three games this week
- GA will travel to St. Vincent-St. Mary High School Tuesday evening
- The Lancers will then host Cleveland Central Catholic High School and Hathaway Brown School
