• The Gilmour Academy varsity girls basketball team claimed a 42-31 victory over Revere High School this past Wednesday in an OHSAA District Semifinal
• With the win, GA advances to face Norton High School in the District Final
• That contest will take place Saturday, Feb. 26, at Streetsboro High School at 7 p.m.
• Gilmour jumped out to an early 16-10 lead after the opening quarter against Revere
• The Lancers led 25-17 at the half and then outscored the Minutemen 10-3 in the third to take full control
• Madeline Martino '22 led Gilmour with 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the floor
• Cooper Flowers '22 contributed a double-double, notching 11 points and a team-high 10 boards
• Lauryn Stover '22 finished with eight points and three steals for Gilmour
• Katie Puletti '24 added five points, five rebounds and two steals for the Lancers
• Nicci Finazzo '24 led GA in assists (4) and steals (4) while also grabbing five rebounds
• Gilmour only committed eight turnovers as a team
• Gilmour has now advanced to a District final in 13 of the past 14 seasons
• The Lancers will be facing Norton for the first time in head coach Julie Solis' tenure
