The varsity boys golf team recently competed in the Kiely Cup at Canterbury Golf Club. The two-day event featured some of the best teams from all over Ohio in all three divisions. The Lancers finished 15th in the event with a two-day total of 396. Liam Ottaway '21 (pictured on the right) had an outstanding tournament, shooting 74 and 75 for a 149. He finished in fourth place overall in the highly competitive field.
The varsity girls golf team recently traveled to Pleasant Valley Golf Course to take on Padua Franciscan. Though Gilmour was not victorious, the team showed much improvement throughout the match as the girls worked on different aspects of the game. Vija Tessman '22 was able to rebound off a bad hole to finish the last couple of holes with confidence.
Then in a tri-match with Magnificat and Beaumont, the Lancers finished third, but shot the best team score of the season at 216. Leading the way was Olivia Sucato '20 and Clare Peterson '23 (pictured on the left), both with a score of 53.
