The Gilmour Academy girls golf team was victorious in its lone action this past week as the Lancers defeated Berkshire High School.

The Lancers' team score of 225 was 10 shots ahead of Berkshire as the teams played at Pleasant Hill Golf Course in Chardon, Ohio.

The win kept Gilmour unbeaten in the month of September as GA had actually tied its two previous matches this month, coming against Beaumont School and Padua Franciscan High School.

Kelsey Hearns '22 led the way against the Badgers, carding a 52. It marked the first time this season that she had Gilmour's low round in a match.

Vija Tessman '22, one of the Lancers' most consistent performers thus far this season, followed right behind with a 53.

Nina Padanilam '22 and Gia Parker '23 rounded out the team scoring group for Gilmour as each posted a 60.

Both Riley Beiswenger '22 (61) and Julia Morgan '23 (64) also competed in the match for the Lancers.

Gilmour will contest three more dual matches before opening postseason action in the final week of September.
