Email: conoboyp@gilmour.org
Coach Conoboy enters his first season as an assistant coach for the girls prep hockey team for the 2023-24 season.

Conoboy has five overall years of coaching experience. He coached high school hockey for two seasons and coached three seasons at the Girls U16 and U19 age levels. For the past two seasons, Conoboy was an assistant coach with Team Illinois at the Girls U16 and U19 teams. He is a strong advocate for the American Development Model (ADM) and believes the biggest key for a player/coach relationship is communication. He incorporates skills and systems into the minds of all of his players. He strives to help his players and teams think the game -- not just play the game. He believes Hockey IQ is one of the most underrated skills a player can work on, but it can make the biggest difference in the eyes of a coach or scout.

Growing up, Conoboy played youth hockey in the Chicagoland area. He attended high school at Maine South and played for both the Maine Township Hockey Club and the Skokie Flyers Hockey Club. Pat attended and played hockey at Lewis University, in Romeoville, Ill.

A native of Park Ridge, Ill., Conoboy graduated from Lewis in 2017.
