Just four games into the season and Gilmour Academy varsity girls soccer player Emma Adams '21 has recorded hat tricks in three of them. The left winger/forward, who has already made a verbal commitment to NCAA Division I Ohio University, not only leads the Lancers in scoring, but she ranks third amongst the News-Herald area scoring leaders. This past week, she helped the Lancers earn a 5-0 victory against Beaumont with one of her hat tricks, which helped earn her the distinction of News-Herald Player of the Week.

"Emma created a difference and had a huge impact on the field this week," said head coach Anton Trifinovs.

She has nine goals in four games and according to Trifinovs, "has stood out against big time DI programs such as Hoban and Magnificat."

Adams is the second Lancer girls soccer player to earn Player of the Week honors this season. Cooper Flowers '22 received the accolade the first week of the season.
