The Varsity A girls tennis team is off to a 2-2 start heading into this week. The Lancers defeated Beaumont and Bay, while losing close 3-2 matches to Cleveland Heights and Mayfield.

Carly Cohen '20 and Ava Moe '22 recorded great singles wins against Beaumont. Madison Maynard '23 has battled on Court 3 singles all season long, earning three victories, which included two third-set tiebreaks to give Gilmour overall team wins in both. Hadley Hairston '21 (pictured on the left) and Claire Jablonski '21 (pictured on the right) have been victorious in doubles against Mayfield, Cleveland Heights and Bay.

In junior varsity team action, the Lancers recorded ties against Cuyahoga Valley Christian and West Geauga with solid performances by Maggie Grunden '21 and Anna Martin '21.
