It was a big week for the varsity volleyball team with games against Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin and Beaumont. Both opponents provided the Lancers with challenges and learning opportunities. Against NDCL, three of the four sets were decided by just two points in a battle to the finish. Gilmour lost the match 3-1, but then bounced back two days later to earn a road win against Beaumont. It was another close match as Gilmour won the conference contest 3-1. 

At the junior varsity level, the Lancers fought hard in both their matches, but came out on the losing end in each. The team lost to NDCL in two sets and pushed Beaumont to three sets. The team continues to challenge itself each week while growing players' individual skills. 

The freshman team worked hard in both of its matches this past week, earning a victory against Beaumont. The coaching staff is pleased with how the players are working to become a cohesive unit.
