The Middle School volleyball team finished its season in exciting fashion. The Lancers played their final home game in the Athletic Center 's Lancer Gymnasium against Cornerstone Christian Academy. With the hard work of Roma Alvarez '26, Ruby Johnson '25 and Zoe Hayek '25, Gilmour was able to pull off a win in three sets, rallying from behind in the final game. The Lancers then took to the road for the final two games of the season to play rivals Hathaway Brown and Laurel. Against HB, the team fell just short, even with the determination of Riley Boylan '26, Molly Boylan '25 and Maddie Figgie '25. The team finished up its season with a win against Laurel after being led by team captains Casie Crawford '24, Julia Gainar '24 and Kendalyn Simpkins '24. Their positive leadership and support helped the Lancers come from behind in set three. The Lancers ended the season with an overall record of 7-3.
