Volleyball Earns Regional Title, Travels to State Semifinal

The Lancers volleyball team earned a trip to the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) Division II State Semifinal, after winning the regional championship on Saturday, November 7 at Lexington High School.

The team defeated Perkins High School in the regional final match in three straight sets - 25-21, 25-5, 25-13. The Lancers' dominant offensive performance was propelled by Kathryn Randorf '22, Sabrina Gremm '22 and Brinn MacLellan '21. Randorf led the Lancers with 13 kills, Gremm recorded 11 kills and MacLellan rounded out the offense with nine kills. The team hit an impressive .376 against the Perkins Pirates, and earned 46 kills throughout the match.  Defensively, the Lancers were led by Emmy Klika '21, who recorded 22 digs in three sets.  Randorf earned 10 digs, and Laney Klika '23 had six digs during the match.  

With their statement win, the Lancers travel to compete in the Division II State Semifinal at Vandalia-Butler High School on Friday, November 13 at 1 p.m. against Tippecanoe High School.
