Lindsay Chiellino is in her sixth year as the head coach of the Gilmour Academy Middle School volleyball program with the 2021-22 school year. She is in her first year as a counselor at Gilmour’s Middle School after spending the previous six years as a counselor at Gilmour’s Lower School.

Chiellino was a former volleyball player in high school, where she served as a team captain in her hometown of Cicero, N.Y. She went on to major in sociology and anthropology at State University of New York (SUNY) at Cortland before earning a master’s degree in school counseling from Canisius College. Additionally, Chiellino spent time teaching volleyball skill development at the middle and high school levels as well as gymnastics at the elementary level. She also served as an assistant with the Gilmour Middle School softball team in 2015 and 2017.

Chiellino resides in Wickliffe, Ohio, with her husband Mike, who is the director of hockey as well as the boys prep hockey head coach at Gilmour Academy. Their son, Nicolas, attends Gilmour’s Lower School Montessori program.
