Kennedy Clyde is in her fifth season as the head coach of the Gilmour Academy freshman volleyball team with the 2021-22 school year, while also assisting with the junior varsity and varsity teams.

Clyde is a graduate of nearby Hawken School, where she was a four-year varsity letterwinner as an outside hitter. She was a four-time team most valuable player and three-year team captain. She was an Old Board Winner, a Chagrin Valley Conference Metro Division MVP (2011) and a two-time News-Herald All Star (2010, 2011). After Hawken, Clyde continued her volleyball career at Marietta College where she earned honors such as athlete of the week and all-tournament team. She also served as team captain for the Pioneers.

Clyde earned her bachelor's degree in broadcasting with a minor in advertising and public relations. The Chagrin Falls, Ohio native is employed as an associate athletic director at Gilmour.
